# How Buyback Offers Work

### What an item is worth, before you buy

Before purchasing a mystery box, you can look up what items are possible to reveal by checking the What's Inside section. Clicking on an item will display its current buyback offer. Baobun doesn't take any cut when you sell back an item. What you see is what you get.

### How buyback offers are calculated

Every item on Baobun has a market value based on real-world pricing. We track prices across multiple trusted marketplaces and update item values regularly to reflect what they're actually selling for.

Your offer is based on the going rate when you open the box, and it doesn't change after that.

### When you can sell back

You can sell an item back any time in the 7 days after your reveal. If you don't ship it within 7 days, we buy it back automatically for that same offer, and the credit goes to your wallet. Selling back is instant and final.

### Where does the credit go?

Credit from a sale is added to your wallet balance instantly. You can use it to open more boxes, or withdraw as cash to your bank account.
